There are people far more successful than you that don’t even have a shred of your talent. You need to get over that. You need to proceed beyond that point and find that determination is an active choice. - I don’t want you to get over it. I want your indignation at this to drive you to action. You’re not going to pocket and put aside any anger so long as you don’t diminish yourself in any way in the feeling of it. Anger is not a negative emotion - it’s how you use it that determines how it will serve you. Be. Angry. You see that task that you’ve been avoiding that has no direct relation to the things that you want to do? That’s a mistake right there - it has everything to do with what you really want to do because it’s there, and it’s in your way. Remove it. Write down, right now, all the tasks you need to do it, and then take care of it. Reward yourself for a moment for doing so, and then examine if there is any other task that requires immediate attention and if there is, you’re going to take care of it too, right now.

An earful of dynamite.

There are people far more successful than you that don’t even have a shred of your talent & it’s okay if it makes you angry (pause) But you need to get over that - not being angry, no I want you to keep that. I want you to learn how to master that to your advantage as a tool you employ to change how thing are, for the better. I want your indignation at this to drive you to action. You’re going to take that feelin that you’ve hidden & buried deep & let it surface with calm precision, but you’re going to be gentle with yourself in doing so. Anger is no longer a tool for self diminishing, but a power to harness & you’re going to turn it into something that serves you.

You see that task that you’ve been avoiding that has no direct relation to the things that you want to do? That’s a mistake right there in your consideration - it has everything to do with what you really want to do because it’s there, and it’s in your way. Remove it. Write down, right now, all the tasks that require your attention to strike it from that list and then take care of it. And you’re not going to allow yourself a little treat in the achievement - you’re not here for sugary sweetness that’s temporary gratification with long-term consquences. You’re here for what it is you really want, the good stuff, and you’re not going to use any kind of excuse that prevents you from acting on what you dream of, not today, never again.

Get to it.

You are not going to allow your anger to feel sorry for yourself - it’s how you use it that determines how it will serve you.
