The Game

The game is a personalized RPG.

You can played remotely, either through pre-recorded scenarios, or in real time, when you & I are both free. It can be over audio only, or video conference, depending on your preference each time you wish to play

Personalized means no one else will know a single thing about the narrative unless you feel compelled to share – it’s your game.

Though I own the materials & the rights to all texts and recordings, I will not share it with the public.

You take a questionnaire. You answer questions you only feel comfortable with answering. It’s a non-invasive questionnaire – it merely allows me to understand you a little better.

You’ll require one 20-sided-die to participate. Rather than think of the lowest number as the weakest & the highest number as the strongest, each number will be assigned a pathway to it’s own narrative.

Die rolls will not be the only way you determine your pathways/decisions.

Should you finish the game & desire to play again, every pathway you have explored will be eliminated & the scenarios will realign.

Or, you can choose to have an entirely new game.

Your character attributes are not assigned, but negotiated, within certain parameters. For the purpose of giving you the best possible user experience, a little structure will be required.

For this, you’ll receive a character breakdown/analysis – attributes, skills, weaknesses, accessories. It’ll be rooted in your present-day experience and without knowing what’s ahead in the game, you’ll choose who you are.

You can play this both live via phone or video call. You can also play on your own time, depending on when you inform me of your die roll or choice.

Decolonization 101

It can be a little difficult to know where to sthart when it comes to learning more about Decolonization. Putting ideas into practice in our day-to-day can be even more challenging. I know from personal experience that having an environment that taught without judgement helped a great deal. I was given the grace to listen & to learn.

I’ll trust you to read the books, but if you require an introduction and merely to listen to passages that I’ve found have been helpful in my understanding & growth as an individual, you simply have to press play & you’ll hear excerpts of authors such as Fanon, Hooks, etc.
